  • After booking your Initial Assessment, please book a Subsequent Treatment 7-14 days after your Initial Assessment.

  • An email will automatically be sent asking you to fill out a Health Intake Form. Please complete it PRIOR to your Initial Assessment Visit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • PLEASE NOTE: 48 hours notice is required for any changes to your appointment. Failing to provide 48 hours will result in being charged the full treatment fee. If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to discuss them with you during your next treatment.

  • Inclement weather: during the winter months, the Halton District School Board updates are followed regarding transportation cancellations. The fee will be waived should buses or schools be closed.

Persistent pain aka chronic pain, is complex and often has both physical and mental components that require a diverse approach to helping manage or resolve the symptoms. The pain can be constant or come and go at varying rates. It can be triggered by both external or internal stimuli such as the biochemical changes, scar tissue from surgeries or trauma, visceral or pelvic disturbances.

Educating moms to understand what is typical and normal behaviour and what symptoms could benefit osteopathic treatment. Helping remove obstacles from their baby's growth will offer optimal development.

BABIES: Milestones, growth spurts, falls and retained primitive reflexes are common reasons to seek treatment. Issued treated; favouring one side of the body, postural weakness, sleep disturbances, digestive challenges (constipation or diarrhea) ears, nose, throat and breathing issues. Educating parents on how to best help their baby at home through best positioning during play, sleep, feeding, car seats along with movements to encourage proper motion etc.

CHILDREN: Growth spurts, sports injuries, postural weaknesses, concentration issues, sleep disturbances, digestive challenges. Educating parents on how to support their growing child through mindfulness, movements/exercises in home, sleep and nutrition habits etc.

As a health and wellness advocate, Sheri is a life-long learner who has enjoyed being a part of the health industry for over 20 years. As an Osteopathic Practitioner, Sheri brings realistic and effective options to healthy pain-reduced living.

She was drawn to osteopathy due to the holistic, interconnected approach it takes in treating the cause of pain. Osteopathy is a layered approach to healing that encompasses both science and art to provide both a science-based and an intuitive take on health care.

Sheri specializes in persistent pain from a trauma informed knowledge base to provide people with physical and mental/emotional support. Education is key in helping those who suffer from long standing pain understand the “why’s” of their individual pain.
